Operator Shift Control Room

As an Operator Shift Control Room you will provide services as required and your responsibilities will include but not limited to:Monitor CCTV cameras and initiate appropriate response to suspicious activities.Monitor computerised burglar and fire alarm systems and initiate appropriate responses to alarm activations.Monitor guard patrol monitoring systems and alert shift supervisors on any deviations.Update the computer-based incident logging system and generate the reports.Operate the 24/7 emergency number and initiate appropriate response to emergencies.Operate remote-controlled gate control systems.Operate all radio communication systems.Perform administration duties relating to a control room environment.Send an SMS to SLT or RLT in case of an emergency or incidents in the mine.Capture all incidents and dockets online for record purposes.This role is in the Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) discipline at a Band S4 level (C1/C2 Grade) reporting to the Security Operations Supervisor.
