This multi-platform role calls for a strong storyteller who can enterprise and break impactful stories in Northern Virginia. Job Responsibilities Enterprise news stories in Northern VirginiaShoot, write and edit newsworthy events including breaking/spot news, general news, sports and feature stories relevant to the Northern Virginia communityGather, write and produce material in fair, accurate and balanced mannerField produce, conduct interviews and shoot storiesPresent stories live on air partnering with photographers and as a single person MMJProvide news on-air and on other platforms as assigned from studio and field locationsEstablish and maintain solid sources to gain access to exclusive local news stories  Active community involvementCreate web content that complements the station website, mobile apps and social media platformsWork closely with Producers, News Managers and Assignment Editors, as well as Reporters and AnchorsDevelop and pitch story ideas #LI-onsite
