Integration Lead
The Integration Lead will direct the design, planning, and execution of integration activities for a large-scale Microsoft-based modernization effort. This role ensures secure, reliable, and scalable data exchange across internal and external systems and supports business processes through modern integration patterns and cloud technologies.In the early phase, the Integration Lead will partner with stakeholders, architects, application teams, and external partners to assess current interfaces, map system dependencies, and shape the integration strategy and roadmap. The role will define requirements, establish interface agreements, and identify key risks and dependencies.During the execution phase, the Integration Lead will guide integration engineers and developers implementing APIs, messaging, workflows, and system interfaces. The role will coordinate design, development, testing, deployment, and operational readiness while maintaining alignment with project timelines and quality goals. They will also provide hands-on development of complex integrations using Microsoft data tools, including use of Azure Service Bus and Data Factory.The projected compensation range for this position is $150,000 to $170,000 (annualized USD). The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as internal pay equity, location, contract-specific affordability and other organizational requirementsRequired Skills8+ years leading enterprise integration or systems integration initiativesExperience designing and implementing API-based integration solutionsExperience with Azure integration services including Azure Service Bus, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and API ManagementExperience with Azure Data Factory and ETL/data integration conceptsExperience defining interface specifications, data contracts, and integration patternsExperience coordinating cross-functional technical teams and external stakeholdersKnowledge of REST APIs, messaging, event-driven architecture, and service-oriented designExperience troubleshooting and resolving complex integration issuesExperience working in Agile delivery environmentsStrong communication, planning, and stakeholder management skillsBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceAbility to obtain and maintain required government clearances, if applicable.Willingness to work onsite in Washington, DC during the discovery and planning phase of the projectMust be a US CitizenDesirable SkillsExperience integrating case management, CRM, records management, or enterprise business systemsExperience with Power Platform and DataverseExperience with cloud modernization initiativesExperience with identity and access management technologiesExperience supporting federal, state, or highly regulated environmentsMicrosoft Azure, Agile, or integration-related certificationsActive federal government public trust clearance
