Speech and Language Pathologist
Here’s what you need to know:We’re looking for a Speech and Language Pathologist for the 2026-27 school year! We need you  to help our students develop the skills they need to communicate and succeed in school. As Speech and Language Pathologist, you will assess and provide speech and language therapy for students at assigned KIPP NJ school sites. You will focus on developing students’ oral communication skills to support their ability to access their educational program. You will report to the Director of Special Education.Here’s what you’ll be doing:Speech Coach ExtraordinaireProvide direct treatment to students with speech-language impairmentsDevelop and implement educationally-based IEP communication goals using a variety of service delivery models to support the classroom curriculumCreate donor and prospect profile documents in support of teammatesConduct speech and language screeningsFollow and implement treatment plansCommunicate with families of students on assigned caseload regarding progress toward IEP goalsTeammate and CollaboratorCollaborate with teachers to ensure that students meet the goals outlined in their IEPsProvide individualized classroom strategies to facilitate specific communication skillsParticipate as a member of the child study teamDocument student progress towards meeting established goals and objectivesParticipate in IEP meetings of students on assigned caseloadConduct formal assessments
