Counsel

In North America, LDC owns or operates oilseed crushing and processing facilities; biodiesel, ethanol, and glycerin production assets; food and beverage ingredient businesses; export terminals; research, development and innovation centers; and a broad network of logistics, storage and distribution assets. The position offers the opportunity to interact with senior management and work on a wide range of legal matters associated with all aspects of LDC's North American businesses. Areas of responsibility may include commercial transactions, strategic projects, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property matters, corporate and finance transactions, construction and capital projects, regulatory and compliance matters, supply chain and logistics issues, employment matters, disputes and litigation management, and general corporate counseling. The successful candidate will work closely with commercial, operations, industrial, innovation, finance, human resources and corporate teams, and will have the opportunity to support both regional matters and certain global initiatives.
