Director of Manufacturing Operations and Engineering (MOE - Assembly)

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Manufacturing Operations & Engineering (MOE - Assembly) to lead all aspects of manufacturing, engineering, and operational excellence for a dynamic production environment. This leader will be responsible for driving safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost performance while developing and executing manufacturing strategies that support business growth and operational transformation.The ideal candidate will oversee manufacturing operations, process engineering, continuous improvement initiatives, and capital investments while leading cross-functional teams to achieve world-class performance. This role will champion the Bosch Production System (BPS), Lean manufacturing, Industry 4.0 initiatives, and operational excellence across all value streams.Key Responsibilities1. Manufacturing Engineering & Process ExcellenceDefine and implement robust manufacturing processes for existing and new productsLead process design, line balancing, capacity planning, and layout optimizationEnsure standardization of work, documentation, and engineering practicesSupport new product introduction (NPI) activities including industrialization and ramp-up3. Operational Excellence & BPS DeploymentDrive Bosch Production System (BPS) implementation across all value streamsLead Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiativesIdentify and eliminate waste across manufacturing processesEstablish KPI systems and drive data-based decision-making4. Strategy, CAPEX & TransformationDevelop and execute manufacturing strategy aligned with divisional and global objectivesLead capital planning, prioritization, and execution (automation, expansion, modernization)Drive Industry 4.0, digital manufacturing, and smart factory initiativesSupport plant footprint optimization and capacity expansion5.
