EEMEA Business Development Director Geochemistry will drive regional business development activities, oversee key account management, identify new market opportunities, support mergers and acquisitions activities where applicable, and collaborate closely with global and regional leadership teams to achieve strategic objectives, support and drive the global sales and business development initiatives for the commercial and onsite Geochemistry Laboratory SBU’s, including, but not limited to, Global Key Account strategy and Global Pricing Initiative.Accountable for achieving the annual regional revenue target through working with affiliates sales and operation teamSet and review pricing based on costing and regional market intelligenceProvide strategic guidance on regional business development opportunitiesSupport the local sale team and/or prepare complex client quotes, service agreements, proposals, responses to RFS, RFP’s or tenders within set deadlines ensuring professional submission of all information as requested by clients and with proper collaboration technical and operations functions to ensure that project scope, schedules and budgets are accurately planned, monitored, communicated, and metPromote cross-selling opportunities across SGS business lines and services.Assist in the development of the annual Sale Plan with EEMEA Head Geochemistry, Regional Geochem Management and Sale Team, including setting specific product/services sale targets, competitive activity, sales effort, and promotion programmeCoordinating the sales initiative with the relevant team members as per the strategyPrepare regional sale pipeline and market intelligence summary for senior management teamGlobal Key Account – In conjunction with EEMEA Head Geochemistry, identification of major and mid-tier clientsDevelop and execute specific key account strategic plan to maximize business relationships, and converting opportunity to revenue growthActs as the customer's advocate in interactions with the SGS organization to ensure the customer obtains the best value from the SGS offerings. Sets appropriate customer expectations on SGS product and service offeringsTrack BD activity and won work through the business to completion utilizing SGS systems (including CRM) and reportingActively participate in industry functionsEnsure face to face client and developmental sales interactionSupport new global sales and BD initiatives when requiredSupport with relevant business market research for new opportunitySupport marketing campaigns when requiredProvide guidance and support to the regional client services team to ensure clients’ needs are being addressedMonitor industry trends, commodity cycles, customer requirements, and competitor activities.Identify opportunities for new service offerings, digital solutions, laboratory technologies, and strategic partnerships.Collaborate with Global Geochemistry leadership to launch new products and services.Adhere to all quality and safety requirements of the SGS management systemPerform any other reasonable tasks as assigned by direct line manager
