Quality Assurance Analyst (Mobile)

Trupanion is looking for a self-motivated Quality Assurance Analyst who is interested in using their investigative nature to help drive functional, integration, and user acceptance testing in a rapidly growing, agile organization. You’ll interact with both people and technology to support Trupanion’s internal and external systems.This position is open to candidates in the Seattle area. You will have a hybrid remote/in-office schedule where you will work from our casual, pet-friendly office at least 3 days a week.Responsibilities:Build, document, and execute test plans to proactively identify issuesTest processes and end-to-end workflows across web, iOS, Android, and multiple business platformsTroubleshoot and resolve challenges with testing tools and frameworksCreate a knowledge base to communicate process changes to end usersEffectively communicate and collaborate with IT professionals, vendor partners, and internal teams in a way that is appropriate for the audienceParticipate in development team stand-ups to understand mobile application changes and to identify risksQualifications:2+ years of experience in functional quality assurance support and demonstrated ability in QA or UAT operations, including mobile application testingISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) certification preferredExperience working within an agile delivery methodology supporting web and mobile applicationsSkills:Proficiency in SQL, Postman, Jira, SharePoint, BrowserStack, and XrayFamiliarity with iOS and Android mobile application testing methodologiesUnderstanding of SDLC, STLC, and mobile application release lifecyclesAn individual who is self-motivated, driven, passionate, and confidentAbility to forge strong working partnerships within IT, with internal business partners, with vendors/partners, and with external customersStrong problem-solving skills, with a willingness and desire to increase knowledge baseExcellent oral and written communication skills, especially in escalated situationsExcellent organization and documentation skillsExperience with test automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Appium, Virtuoso) and scripting languages is a plusExperience using Apple TestFlight and Google Play testing tracks from a testing perspectiveCompensation:The base pay range for this position is $90,000, on a full-time schedule.Along with base salary, Trupanion employees are currently eligible for monthly bonuses.We want all employees to be invested in Trupanion’s success, so we grant Restricted Stock Units to all new team members.
