Archaeology Technician
AECOM is seeking an Archaeology Technician II for immediate employment in our Portland, OR office.  This is a remote, part-time, on-call position, meaning workdays and times will be determined on an as-needed basis.The Archaeology Technician primarily performs fieldwork under the supervision of a Crew Chief, Field Director and/or Principal Investigator. Field projects will primarily be in the PNW (Oregon and Washington State) with the opportunity for additional projects as they present. Candidates will need flexibility to travel overnight for field work sessions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Conduct archaeological field work under the guidance of a field supervisor.Identify and document cultural resourcesFollow Health and Safety protocols and adhere to all AECOM procedures.Assist the field supervisor with technical aspects of field work.Collects and enters data and applies technical principles and theories under supervision.About AECOM’s Environment Business Line
