AECOM is seeking a highly motivated Senior Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) Engineer to join our Mining Project Delivery team in support of mining projects. Job Summary/Responsibilities Provides project leadership in the areas of instrumentation & controls, engineering and design, investigations, analysis on multi-disciplinary mining projects.  Serve as lead I&C engineer or discipline lead on mid-size to large projects. Coordinate and direct staff on designs, specifications, drawings, figures, reports and calculations on multi-discipline design efforts. Work with existing and potential clients to provide instrumentation & controls, engineering and design solutions on mining projects. Develop project proposals and work with mining business leader to support and grow the Mining practice. Provide direction and mentoring to technical staff in completing project tasks. Write technical scopes of work, specifications, design/check P&ID's (including instrumenting P&ID's, and adding control and interlock notes), data sheets, architecture drawings, functional descriptions, instrument index, loop sheets, interconnection diagrams, instrument location plans, I/O lists and cable schedules. Provide specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise. Provide technical expertise for studies and design efforts. Present complex technical solutions to clients. Perform independent technical reviews of engineering documentation and sign off on work performed. Equipment bid package development, analysis, purchase order management and vendor drawing review Serve as primary point of contact with the client and develop client relationships Plan, schedule, conduct or coordinate detailed phases of the engineering project, focusing on the  I&C designs of mine projects. Provides advice and consultation to clients on engineering matters, including compliance with government laws and regulations.
