Staff Engineer, Retail Media / AdTech Solutions (m/f/d)

About your tasks:Architecture & Technical Strategy: Drive the technical direction of our Retail Media platform, designing scalable, maintainable architectures and leading the evolution of Node.js/TypeScript microservices and distributed systems.Hands-on Full-Stack Engineering: Design and build high-performance backend services, APIs, and frontend applications using Node.js, React, Next.js, and TypeScript, while remaining actively involved in implementation and technical problem-solving.Data & System Design: Architect and optimize data-intensive and asynchronous workflows using MongoDB, Redis, Algolia, BullMQ, and RabbitMQ to support campaign management, ad serving, targeting, and reporting.Cross-Team Technical Leadership: Lead complex engineering initiatives across teams, drive architectural alignment, mentor engineers, and establish technical standards that improve engineering quality and long-term platform scalability.Product & Business Collaboration: Partner closely with Product, UX, Analytics, and Retail Media stakeholders to shape technical priorities, challenge assumptions, and translate business needs into impactful AdTech solutions.
