SYP Trucking is a small locally-owned trucking company located in Muskegon. We are looking to add an experienced full-time trailer mechanic to our garage team. This person will be responsible for trailer maintenance and all basic mechanical and structural repairs. We have a fleet dry van trailers as well as a few tankers and leads. Most work is done in our shop but occasional service calls are required. Documenting your work and adhering to safety standards are required. We require at least a year of relevant experience, preferably more, we are not looking to train. Must work well with our team, have a valid driver's license (CDL and mechanic certifications are a big plus), and be able to pass a drug test.
We are looking for someone reliable who is able to work first shift, 5 days a week, usually 40 hours/week. Pay depends on experience, benefits available after 90 days. All employees are on payroll, paid weekly by direct deposit. Benefits include paid holidays after 90 days, health/dental/life/etc. after 90 days, paid vacation after 1 year, 401k with matching after 1 year. Veterans welcome!
