Tax Preparer (Full or Part-Time) (Remote or Onsite)

Sole Practitioner CPA based in Austin is looking to add a side-kick/support staff to their quickly growing practice. This is a unique opportunity for a tax accountant with prior public accounting experience. There is significant growth opportunity within the firm and ultimately we would be looking for this person to take on ownership and share in the profits within 2 to 3 years.

The practice is a niche-practice where the client base is 98% from one industry. This type of model enables the firm to serve a large number of clients very effectively. Because the service is standardized from client to client, we are able to provide a high-quality work/life balance and unlike other tax firms, our busy seasons require no over-time. Another unique feature of the firm is that the work is quite simple due to the fact that we are serving health professionals whose tax & accounting needs are straightforward.

This can be a full-time or part-time role, depending on the candidate's needs. We can also structure this as 1099 pay or as a W2 employee with benefits. The primary requirement is that candidates must have recent public accounting experience with a background focused in tax.
