Telematics/IoT Developer

Location: Dearborn, MI Salary: Flexible W2 or C2C Description: Telematics/IoT Developer Dearborn, MI Long-term Contract or Contract to Hire W2 or C2C is fine (no OPT or CPT please) The key is to find someone that has the experience integrating and launching vehicle applications. We have a different group that does the embedded software development and creation of the applications. This person takes the app and integrates it and launches it. This person we are seeking is the middle-layer person that works with the processing unit/vehicle platform. This could be called an IoT Developer the IoT team for the vehicle. MUST HAVE SKILLS: Connected Vehicle IoT Integration Microservices Webservices Service oriented architecture Application is written in Java so they must have Java This is on the vehicle architecture side that controls the entire vehicle and communicates through the internet to the vehicle. An example of an app they would integrate could be if you want to lock your car doors using your mobile phone's app or close the windows from your mobile app (like if you were inside the house).
