Sr Applications Systems Analyst in St. Louis, MO. This is not a Corp2Corp opportunity. This is a long-term contract opportunity with the possibility of hire. No remote work. RESPONSIBILITIES- Works with business partners and development teams to support current business applications and processes.
- Regularly communicates with Business Owners to discuss business logic and new functionality requests.
- Facilitates design discussions with developers and provides solutions and direction for business requests.
- Creates, reviews and approves design and logic documentation.
- Ensures validation of user stories/requirements and timely deployments. Manages testing and functional resources.
- Performs all functional duties independently.
- Works on high-visibility programs, or mission critical aspects of assigned program(s).
- This is an on-site position with no telecommute possibilities.
- 7+ years’ experience working in a systems analyst role.
- Experience simultaneously performing multiple roles (i.e. wearing "multiple hats") in a dynamic IT project environment.
- Experience working in an Agile environment, with knowledge of Agile project management and reporting along with user story creation and backlog management.
- Experience arranging and facilitating cross-functional meetings between business and technical personnel that result in workable solutions.
- Experience writing and reviewing IT project-related documentation, including design and logic documentation.
- Experience overseeing IT deployments.
- Experience managing testing and functional resources.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Must obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance prior to start.
- A degree from an accredited College/University in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline is preferred.
- Agile Scrum methodology, including practices and ceremonies.
- Agile management tool such as VersionOne.
- ServiceNow or other IT service manag
