Currently, we are seeking a professional who can successfully meet the following criteria:Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain ETL processes
- Maintain data warehouses
- Design and deploy data table structures, reports, and queries
- Diagnose and resolve database access and performance issues
- Assure security of data from external parties and for management of row-level-security within the organization
- Develop, implement, and maintain change control and testing processes for modifications to databases
- Develop and maintain database stored procedures, views, and functions that support reporting data models
- Produce ad-hoc queries that develop reports to support business needs
- Create reports and data models that meet business requirements
- Provide data management support to users
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Provide support during business hours, and participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support
- 3-5+ years of experience in development within the Microsoft/SQL Server stack
- Experience with SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS
- Experience creating charts, graphs, dashboards in one or more of the following programs - Excel, SSRS, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik and/or similar programs
- Expertise in Query Syntax with T-SQL and PL/SQL
- Experience with Tabular-based reporting, and Tabular Data Models
- In-depth understanding of data management (e.g. permissions, recovery, security, and monitoring)
- Knowledge of data visualization methods and data modeling
- Experience in data modelling and building analytical applications on on-prem and cloud platforms.
- Hands on experience using various bigdata platforms like AzureP/AWS.
- Experience in building data pipelines leveraging technologies like ADF, Databricks, Datafusion, Kafka, Eventhub etc.
- Expertise in SQL and hands on experience with either Python, Java or another programming language.
- Ability to understand user/business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Understanding of automated test/validation solutions.
- Accountable for creating appropriate documentation such as data catalogs and data flows
- Ability to construct and maintain data warehouses
- Experience in creating databases from start to finish
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrable ability to coordinate and work cohesively with a development team
- Knowledge of the Kimball methodologies of data warehousing
