Power BI Developer

Job Title: OA-OIT A4 Emerging SME2 (638825) Location: Harrisburg, PA Duration: 8 Months The selected candidate will be responsible for creating and managing Business Intelligence (BI) reports utilizing the Microsoft Power-BI platform for the Enterprise Information Security Office (EISO). These reports are intended to provide executive leadership with key performance indictors on our cybersecurity programs and initiatives. The data on which these reports are based is taken from a variety of sources including both structured and unstructured data. Currently these reports are manually generated and updated. In addition to refining the existing reports and the creation of possible new ones, the selected candidate will work with the staff responsible for these data and endeavor to streamline and automate the data collection and generation of these reports. The selected candidate will normally work in Harrisburg, PA, at 5 Technology Park. For the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic emergency, however, the selected candidate is required to telework. Duties: The selected candidate will Maintain the EISO Power-BI which is hosted in Microsoft Azure Provide updates to the service to automate data collection and report generation, working with the data owners as directed by EISO staff Work with EISO staff to consider and implement new reports Work with EISO staff to consider and implement new management dashboards Skill sets: The selected candidate will be proficient in Power-BI o Maintain the application as needed o Update existing reports and dashboards o Create new reports and dashboards o Integrate both structured and unstructured data as the foundation of reports, automating the process as possible Microsoft Office for data collection and progress reporting o Word o Excel o PowerPoint Working knowledge of SIEM and EGRC applications Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience Have POWER BI - Maintain the application as needed Required POWER BI - Update existing reports and dashboards Required POWER BI - Create new reports and dashboards Required POWER BI - Integrate both structured and unstructured data as the foundation of reports, automating the process as possible Required Microsoft Office for data collection and progress reporting - o Word o Excel o PowerPoint Required Working knowledge of SIEM and EGRC applications Required
