The Meat Clerk prepares meats and seafood, keeps displays, coolers and shelves fully stocked, clean and tidy while providing prompt friendly and helpful customer service. Foster a team environment while meeting department objectives. Have the ability to work on your feet for up to 8 hours. Also, some meat department experience is helpful.
We are looking for the following skills:
A. Proper use of knives, band saw, grinder, other machinery & use safety habits.
B. Ability to prepare and present products.
C. Safe Foods Handler certificate.
D. Able to lift 50 lbs.
E. Able to stand for long periods of time.
F. Some knowledge of cuts of meat.
