Smart Solutions is searching for a
PeopleSoft Treasury/Cash Management Expert for a year-long contract in Madison, WI, with the possibility of extension. This project's scope includes documenting business processes, fit/gap analysis, functional design, solution development, configuration, conversion, deployment of the implementation of Peoplesoft Treasury and Cash Management, with a focus on leveraging delivered capabilities and eliminating customizations and external systems. This role will be remote until April 2021, but there might be options to work part-time from home after April 2021. Responsibilities:- Setup (or revision of the setup) of external and internal bank accounts
- Book to bank reconciliation and treasury accounting setup
- In-house banking and integration with PS GL, AP & AR
- Cash position/Forecasting model setup
- Liquidity reporting and Cash Management Dashboard
- Design reports for regulatory and compliance reporting requirements
- Configuration of Financial Gateway outbound payments layout and inbound statement and acknowledgment layouts (in conjunction with AP and AR)
- Facility setup and counterparty setup
- Settlements and Fund transfer setup
- Translate requirements and business process into a PS functional design with a focus on leveraging delivered capabilities and eliminating customizations
- Interact with technical and operational teams to determine future state business processes and functional designs
- Design and maintain interfaces to external systems and vendors
- Provide PS application managed services and acting as a functional analyst in troubleshooting issues and stabilizing the applications during and after go-live
- 10+ years of Peoplesoft Treasury and Cash Management experience
- Experience with specifically bank statement processing and treasury accounting setup
- Experience with Cash Management Dashboard and Peoplesoft fluid
- Background with setup and implementation of Cash Position functionality
- Experience with all phases of an ERP application development, including requirements analysis, fit/gap, design, development, test, and deployment regression, parallel, and user acceptance
- Excellent communication skills – verbal, written, presentation delivery skills
- Ability to review current banking structure and services and make recommendations for changes to support streamlined business processes
- Experience transitioning a client that is already live on PeopleSoft from a "Banking" focused implementation to a Treasury & Cash Management focused implementation
- Experience with Peoplesoft version 9.x at a minimum
- Strong understanding of the Accounting impacts of the Treasury and Cash Management Modules
- Experience with Peoplesoft version 9.2
- SQL and Application Designer experience
- Experience supporting at least five full life cycle PS implementation
- Experience with an implementation that uses Commitment Control
- Experience with Treasury in a Public Sector setting
- Experience up to PUM 37
- Peoplesoft certification
