Knife Handling Skills

Must a good with measuring food and counting items - math is important in this job.

Food Handler or Manager

Follow Food Safety (HACCP) regulations.

Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:30am - 3:00pm

Qualifications:

Passion for Prepping or Packaging Food with Excellence

Knowledge of executing HACCP (Food Safety)

Experience with slicers, knives, food processors

Ready to work in the early mornings!

Excellent Aptitude in Basic Math and Kitchen Math

Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes, using various kitchen utensils and equipment.

Follow all safety rules and actively prevent accidents.

Commitment to the service values and ethics of the client company.

Comply with all HACCP programs and principles

Essential Skills and Experience:

Ability to correctly and safely use standards kitchen equipment. Chefs' knives; Convection ovens; Meat and cheese slicing machines.

Reports to: Operations Manager

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 #. Employee must be able to work on their feet 8 hours per day excluding breaks.

Employee has to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods.

Other:

Bilingual is a plus! Must read/speak English.

Must be able to start work early (6:30am)
