Senior Data Analyst. The

Senior Data Analyst is a 3-month contract role located near Richmond, VA. The client will pay relocation expenses.

Responsibilities:
  • Act as an integral role of the Finance Data Analytics team.
  • Interpret data, analyze results, and execute standard reports.
  • Create dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI and other reporting tools.
  • Execute extemporary data analysis and provide findings to leadership.
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, and other strategies to optimize quality and efficiency within the organization.
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
  • Provide mentoring/training to internal employees on how to utilize the tools and reports.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Data Science preferred.
  • 4+ years of work experience within a structured business environment.
  • Experience working with large-scale ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, etc.
  • Experience working within BI tools such as Power BI, SAP-BPC, Tableau, etc.
  • Prior exposure/understanding of ETL tools.
  • Advanced Excel skills required.
  • Experience working with scripting and/or coding languages such as Python, SQL, VBA, JavaScript preferred.
  • Knowledge of analyzing data within MS Access, MS SQL Server, and MySQL.
