Quality Specialist

Amerson Precision Sheet Metal is seeking a Quality Specialist.

Job Summary

The Quality Specialist provides assistance for the quality assurance aspects of the Company.

Duties and Responsibilities

Helping to maintain and implementing the established APSM Quality Assurance Program.

Improve/develop, implement and maintain quality procedures.

Help verify all APSM and Client requirements have been completed and documented.

Communicate with other company departments as it relates to quality of work performed by the Company.

Calibration control of measuring and test equipment.

Perform fabrication and assembly inspection of sheet metal.

Perform in-process and final inspection of components in shop.

Help with establishing and maintain relationships with third party agencies and subcontractors in support of

the QA Department. Supervise and direct subcontracted companies.

Conduct vendor surveillance inspections and audits.

Qualifications and Education

A minimum of 5 years’ relevant ISO9001 manufacturing experience in a quality.

COMPANY utilizes the Microsoft Office Suite of programs and therefore the Quality Specialist must have a

thorough working knowledge of these programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and general operating system

knowledge.

Possess a strong work ethic, customer service skills, and the ability to communicate effectively both in writing

and verbally.

Ability to lift 50lbs.
