Polymer Injection Molding, a division of Polymer Corporation, located in Palmer, MA seeks an experienced first shift, Mold Maintenance Technician who is eager to work in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.

MOLD MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

SUMMARY: To perform and document preventative maintenance on molds.

Duties to include:

Assists in the preventive maintenance of the molds after the production run and puts them into proper storage.

Perform mold disassembly and assembly for inspection/cleaning/minor repairs.

Notifies the Tool Room Manager about any issues with the molds.

Documents status of the PM on the Mold History records.

Pulls molds and stages them in advance of runs, based on Molding Schedule.

Responsible for the organization of all mold repair part inventory and upkeep of mold storage/rack area.

Skills and Knowledge:

Good mechanical aptitude

Good organizational skills

Forklift experience is preferred

Microsoft office computer experience is a must

Must have good attendance and a stable work history

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

One to Two years of experience is required.
