DESCRIPTION

Hiring Event: Goodwill Career Center- 1000 N, St Augustine Rd, Valdosta GA 31601 Wednesday 9:30 AM- 1:00 PM. Please bring two valid forms of identification, dress interview ready, and be prepared to take a drug test. SIMOS is hiring at a major distribution center in Valdosta, GA. This is a fast-paced environment and requires manual heavy lifting. Available Shifts Sunday-Wednesday-6pm-430am-$13.93/hr Thursday-Sunday 6 pm-430am-$13.93/hr Weekend Dayshift-Friday-Sunday 6 am-6:30 pm $14.92/hr

Job Responsibilities

Employees are expected to comply and fully adhere to the SIMOS Dress-Code Policy and Attendance Policy. This position requires you to stand on your feet for at least 10-12 hours. This requires reaching overhead, twisting, turning, and squatting. The employee must always maintain a work-area and environment that is free of plastic, paper, corrugate, damaged materials, and other debris, to help maintain a safe working environment. Employees are expected to be on-time for the start of their shift and to remain thru the entire shift.

This role will require a lot of reaching overhead, twisting, turning, and squatting throughout your shift. You must have the ability to work independently in a busy, high traffic receiving department and maintain a clean and safe work area. Will possibly use RF scanners and load, unload, & intake materials. Must be able to lift 70lbs solo 71+pounds as a team
