The Security Officer is responsible for the oversight of the safety and security of the hotel guests and employees. This person will follow safety and security standards by:

Patrolling the property to ensure the safety of guests and employees and to protect hotel assets

Reporting and completing incident reports

Respond to medical emergencies on property

Assisting guests with key assists and access to their room

Initiate and follow-up all investigations of crimes committed against property and persons

Assist with other duties as directed by the Security Supervisor, Manager and/or Director

The ideal candidate will posses the following qualifications:

A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.

Refined verbal and written communication skills

Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances

Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Proficient in basic computer skills

Previous security experience preferred
