Automation Architect/ Manager

Title: Automation Architect/ Manager Location: Chicago, IL Required Experience/Skills: - Test Automation Architect -10+ years of relevant and hands-on experience of implementing test automation solutions in agile/ DevOps environment - Ability and proven experience in advising clients on test automation strategy, setting direction for long term automation plan, bringing in best practices and RoI evaluation - In-depth knowledge of multiple open source/commercial tools for SAP, Desktop & Web test automation (Primary : Selenium, Additional Testing tools : UFT, Tosca etc.) - Sound understanding of agile and DevOps methodologies, concepts - Competencies around DevOps, Continuous Testing, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery - Serving as an expert in defining and rolling out standard Automation Frameworks, in line with latest industry trends. - Understanding software quality best practices, test strategy and planning, test case development, test case execution, deployment and, test data, defect tracking, and test automation - Good consulting, communication, convincing, presentation skills and Negotiation Skills - In-depth knowledge of Testing concepts and Test Project management - Expert knowledge of Effort Estimation and Scheduling, Scope definition - Must have Advanced / Expert level of knowledge of testing concepts, methodologies, and processes - Hands-on QA Automation experience with proven abilities to design, construct, customize and maintain hybrid Test automation frameworks - Sound knowledge of Java / C#, web .net and VB technologies
