US Equities Product Manager

Nasdaq, renowned for being a leader in financial technology, operates three US Equities exchanges including the Nasdaq Stock Market and a, best in class trade reporting facility. In addition, Nasdaq owns, operates, or provides infrastructure and technology to various equities and derivatives markets around the globe.Were looking for a thoughtful, curious, and dynamic individual to join the US Equities team. As a US Equities Product Manager, you will work with both internal and external stakeholders to define, manage, and execute our product vision across our US Equities exchanges and trade reporting facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and own new products based on market trends and client feedback
• Design, refine, and build value-add product and features
• Innovate and pilot new capabilities to differentiate Nasdaq from its competitors
• Lead engineers and designers to develop product requirements and specifications
• Remain abreast of the competitive landscape including specific competitive products, feature functionality, strengths, weaknesses, industry trends and regulatory landscape
• Develop business cases for new products and business initiatives and advocates across multiple levels of Nasdaq leadership
• Interact with North American Equities management to communicate status and product progress. Provide timely and accurate information and status updates to senior leaders.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for internal and external clients with regards to our products and capabilities

Experience/Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience in financial technology/markets
• Strong comprehension of trading workflows and how markets work
• Keeps abreast with market structure trends
• Experience with trading system architecture
• Experience with agile development practices
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to balance multiple priorities in a dynamic and shifting landscape
• Self-motivated person who is accountable and takes ownership of everything they touch
