Sr. Accountant

DescriptionCALLING ALL NETSUITE SENIOR ACCOUNTANTSRobert Half Finance currently has a vacancy for a full-time Senior Accountant to bring their leadership skills and experience to a growing finance team in the Fort Lauderdale, Florida area. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for producing financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Coordinate Ad-hoc projects as necessary

Successfully collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, controls and provide support on special requests when necessary

Commitment to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)

Contribute to coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors

Participate in various department-wide initiatives

Assemble monthly consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting

Provide monthly accounting closure procedures and deliverables, which includes journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP

Present Balance Sheet account reconciliations

Requirements

Accomplished in analytical, quantitative and social skills

BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred

Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines

Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment

Skilled at time management

Current and relevant ERP system experience

7+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience

Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems experience a plus

Accounting experience in publicly-traded company a plus

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Comprehension of Payments Reconciliation

Knowledge of Intercompany Accounting

Demonstrated knowledge of Expense Reconciliation

Ledger Account Reconciliation experience highly preferred

Practical knowledge of Inventory Reconciliation

Adeptness in Daily Reconciliation

Background working with Ledger Reconciliations

Proficiency in intercompany

Hands-on experience with Reconcile Account

Earlier work involving Monthly Account Reconciliation

General familiarity with financial reconciliation

Good understanding of Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliation

Credit Card Reconciliation experience highly desired

Monthly Reconciliation experience highly valued

Reconcile Bank Statements experience preferred

Experience with Reconcile Balance Sheet Account

Prior experience with Reconcile Bank Account

Intercompany Transaction experience

Account reconciliation experience

Previous experience working with Monthly Bank Reconciliation

Experience in SOX control execution/documentation
