Position SummaryThe District Manager is responsible for providing management support to all sales locations within their respective regions to maximize vehicle sales and location profitability. A successful candidate will work closely with Store Managers to ensure that customers have the best car-buying experience and maintain a high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI). This position is also responsible for staffing, coaching, and developing store managers and assisting with sales staff recruitment and retention.Responsibilities
Oversees store locations within assigned district to ensure dealership profitability.
Makes regular visits to assigned dealerships to monitor and train store personnel.
Monitors stores’ daily activity and assist with the dealership’s inventory management.
Analyzes local competitive market to identify opportunities to assist in developing sales strategies.
Provides coaching to dealerships to ensure all monthly and annual sales goals are accomplished.
Assists store managers with maintaining excellent customer retention and satisfaction while achieving a high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI).
Ensures all sales staff are receiving proper training to maintain 100% compliance.
Demonstrates a high level of integrity during interactions with customers, employees, vendors, and colleagues.
Assists the store manager is resolving complex customer complaints and concerns.
Collaborates with Underwriting and Servicing to ensure an excellent overall customer experience.
Directs the hiring, training, and performance management for store management staff in assigned district.
Cultivates an enthusiastic work environment that will build positive employee attitudes and increase employee morale.
Performs other duties as assigned.
QualificationsRequired:
High School Diploma/GED
6 – 8 years of sales management experience
Computer literacy to include Data Entry, Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook
Excellent Communication Skills (verbal and written)
Current State Driver’s License
Preferred:
6 - 8 years of Automotive sales management experience
