Handy person/farm manager (Brooklyn)

Tomato Mountain Farm is looking for a person with mechanical, basic electrical, and construction skills, and an interest in growing food, to help with farm maintenance and management. Between our 23 greenhouses, and our many tractors/vehicles, we need someone with a variety of skills to keep things in good working order, and to direct a portion of production in conjunction with me, Chris, the farmer.

It's best when the person fixing equipment also uses it. A jack of all trades with a particular interest in local food production would be our perfect match. Non smokers only.

We're interested in long term prospects we would eventually offer a wage of $20/hour. I want to make sure the person we hire is a good fit for our farm before paying that wage, but we want to pay living wages to loyal, reliable, and skilled employees.
