Variable Fleet Coordinator Opportunity

Apex Systems is in need of a Fleet Coordinator for one of our large Fleet Management clients. This role is a 6-month contract-to-hire and it is fully on-site in the Glastonbury, CT area. There will be some intsances where you would be expected to work on weekends and holidays based on a as needed basis but you will receive over time for those instances. A Day in the Life:

Key management of variable fleet units (delivery vehicles)

Perform detailed pre and post in-service inspections of the variable fleet

Coordinate light detailing / washing / cleaning of variable fleet units

Schedule with third-party vendors corrective mechanical and body repairs as to be agreed upon by Buyer, Vendor, and Customer and which may be revised from time to time

Ensure the refueling of returned units

Foster relationships with clients, vendors, and fleet personnel and advise on activities to maintain health of fleet

Schedule and perform record keeping of all activities completed, whether by Vendor or managed by a third-party vendor

Collaborate with Buyer and Customer to improve program and create greater

Requirements:

6 months of rental car experience

Exceptional customer service experience

Valid driver's license

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Prior experience with Microsoft Excel

Need to know how to handle smartphones, tablets, etc.
