GC Handrail is a small manufacturer in Anchorage. We manufacture cable handrail kits that we sell all over the state of Alaska. Our product is sold to homeowners, contractors and dealers around the state.

Inside Sales

Create quotes for walk-in traffic and email inquiries

Answer phone inquiries

Perform take offs of drawings provided by customers (we can teach you this skill)

Create estimate files on company server

Receive orders from customers, create production order, process credit cards, create bill of materials

Work with customers when they pick up materials

Keep showroom clean and neat

Marketing

Receive photos from customers

Update website, facebook, instagram

Prepare for home shows in March and April every year, prep materials, print photos, work show booth

Create new brochures as necessary

Software

Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word

Adobe Acrobat - create and modify pdf's

Quick Books Pro - create quotes

Chief Architect Designer - create layout drawings for the shop and customer installation (we will train)

This position can easily expand to take on more duties as knowledge increases over time. This position is 100% in our office, except for a few home shows in March and April. You will NOT be required to do any cold calling.

Dress is business casual. Hours are 8-5 M-F with a 1 hour lunch.

You must live in the Anchorage, Alaska area.
