Job Description:
The GM is ultimately responsible for upholding the vision and values of our company for the staff, guests, and community at large. You will be responsible for leading & coordinating all front and back of house operations. Responsibilities include addressing customer & vendor needs, oversight of quality and staffing concerns BOH/FOH, and supporting and coordinating the event management team. Your actions are a direct reflection of our brand and culture. You will work directly with ownership and fellow managers to ensure success at every level.
Responsibilities
The General Manager will review payroll, address budget concerns, inventory, set financial benchmarks, control costs, and find ways to minimize waste.
Provide guidance and be responsible for the daily operations of both BOH and FOH
Provide exceptional customer service and ensure guest satisfaction at the highest level.
Work to resolve guest concerns and train the team to be proactive with guest issues.
Have the responsibility of administrative duties such as scheduling, payroll, ordering, inventory, and fiscal reporting.
Ensure all food and safety standards/inspections are met and protocols are followed.
Play an active role in marketing and promotional initiatives.
Be responsible for HR related tasks such as hiring, recruiting, and disciplinary actions.
Provide education, training, and support to new and current employees.
Qualifications & Experience
3 years’ experience in full-service restaurants and banquet/catering or event management
Experience managing a high energy, structured upscale dining experience with full oversight of both FOH & BOH.
Experience working with and managing BOH operations.
Develop, execute, and maintain accountabilities of company standards, policies and procedures.
Prior experience developing and implementing training programs to lift service standards and guest satisfaction scores.
Proficient at problem solving and implementing solution-based initiatives.
3 plus years’ experience with restaurant technologies including POS, optimize reservation platforms, scheduling software, inventory management, and financial reporting.

Compensation/Benefits
Starting Salary 60 – 70 K annually
