Architect - Full time and/or Part time
Established Small Architecture and Construction company seeking a Architect who can work independently, while working collaboratively with the Principal and clients.
Candidates should exhibit design talent, strong communication skills, and be self-motivate a unique and individual with experience and interest in architectural design and construction.
Qualifications:
- 2 – 3 years of experience in architectural design in residential and commercial.
- A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture or engineering is required.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Sketchup is required. Revit experience is plus.
- Ability to perform field surveys.
- Written and oral communication skills required for client interaction and architectural directives.
- Experience in commercial projects (MEP Design) is plus.
- Direct experience in the construction field is preferred.
- Honest, dependable and strong work ethic
Responsibilities:
- Create design documents from existing conditions, schematic design through construction administration.
- Participate in client meetings.
- Review project submittals.
- Help to facilitate communication with the Project Architect.
- Coordinate with project consultants.
- Permit process thru local governments
- Help to facilitate communication with the Construction team
