Receptionist

The Lathrop Community is an over 55 planned living community with locations in Easthampton and Northampton. This part time opportunity is located on the Easthampton campus. This 16 hour a week opportunity involves weekend shifts and flexibility to fill in to assist in vacation and holiday coverage. The reception area is open 24/7 and is staffed at all times. The Lathrop Community is an affiliate of the Kendal Corporation and promotes a diverse and inclusive employment experience.

The receptionist / concierge is responsible for greeting all visitors to our inn, answering all incoming calls and transferring to the appropriate department, assisting residents as needed and in addition to being the gatekeeper for visitors is responsible for internal security checks such as ensuring that windows and doors are securely locked as well as general administrative support as requested. Proficiency with the Microsoft suite as well as the ability to learn other software packages is required.
