Heavy Equipment Construction Operators
Witherow Construction LLC is a local grading company located in Surprise, Arizona. We are currently hiring and looking for skilled members to join our team.
Current Positions we are hiring for:
Finish Blade 12M3-
Must have 5+ years experience, with 2 years Trimble GPS experience.
Finish blade operators only.
Experience with Subdivision and Streets required.
Scraper 613-
Must have experience
Experience with Subdivision and Streets required.
Gannon tractor operators-
Must have 1 + years finish experience.
Must be cut grade per plan design and do creative grading when required.
Must be able to shovel and do clean up when required.
60G Mini excavator-
Experience digging footings and Gas line.
Experience with Topcon GPS a plus
Lead man role with one guy working with you.
5 year clean MVD driving record required. Company truck provided for this position.
Universal operators.
Forman / Lead man experience is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of heavy equipment, including but not limited to Caterpillar/John Deere, Motor grader, loader, bulldozer, excavator, Gannon tractors
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Safely and efficiently operate equipment to complete assigned tasks
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate work activities and ensure project deadlines are met
Qualifications:
-1-5 years experience as noted above
- Experience/Knowledge with Trimble and/or TopCon GPS and machine controls (A plus)
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
-Must be able to pass preemployment drug screen

We do finish work (land development) of all types and have all new equipment with GPS (Trimble and Topcon). All of our fleet is top notch! Competitive wages offered. Most of our work is located in the West Valley.

Monday to Friday
No weekends
Heavy equipment: 1 year (Preferred)
Motor grader operating: 5 years (Preferred)
TopCon/Trimble GPS: 1 year (Preferred)
