We are a reputable subcontractor for FedEx, located in Maspeth, NY. Our company specializes in providing reliable delivery and pickup services within the Midtown Manhattan area. We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Drivers and Driver Helpers.
Position: Driver
Job Responsibilities:
Safely operate delivery vehicles within designated routes in Midtown Manhattan.
Deliver packages to residential and commercial locations in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
Ensure vehicle maintenance and cleanliness.
Provide excellent customer service to recipients.
Requirements for Drivers:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Previous experience in delivery driving preferred.
Familiarity with Midtown Manhattan streets and traffic patterns.
Ability to lift and carry heavy packages.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Position: Driver Helper
Job Responsibilities:
Assist the driver in loading and unloading packages from the delivery vehicle.
Accompany the driver on delivery routes and provide support as needed.
Interact professionally with customers and recipients.
Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
Requirements for Driver Helpers:
Physically fit and capable of lifting and carrying heavy packages.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing tasks.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Willingness to work outdoors and in various weather conditions.
Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.
