Looking for an experienced Designer for Cabinets Showroom

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a creative and dynamic Interior Designer to join our team, who is also comfortable with handling client calls. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for design, a passion for enhancing interior spaces, and the ability to drive sales through excellent customer service. This role involves both designing inviting and functional interior spaces for our clients and managing inbound and outbound calls to foster relationships and secure projects. This person must have at least 2 years experience using 2020 software.

Responsibilities:

Design interior spaces that meet client specifications, budget, and aesthetic preferences.

Conduct consultations with clients to understand their design needs and preferences.

Prepare and present design proposals, including concept boards and material samples.

Handle inbound sales inquiries, providing product and service information, and converting calls into appointments or sales.

Make outbound sales calls to potential clients, introducing our services and setting up meetings or consultations.

Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction with design services and to encourage referrals.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and space planning standards.

Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to ensure design elements are delivered and installed according to plan.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion within budget.

Requirements:

Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field. (not a must)

Proven experience in interior design and sales.

Strong understanding of design principles, space planning, and aesthetic sensibilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members.

Ability to handle client calls with professionalism, converting inquiries into business opportunities.

Highly organized, with strong project management skills.

Flexibility to meet with clients, and adapt to variable schedules.

MON-FRI- 9-5pm, salary TBD
