Part Time Driver Needed

Company seeks an EXPERIENCED, POLITE and RESPONSIBLE 26ft box truck driver with a CLEAN DRIVING

RECORD for consistent part time work 5 days a week, 3 to 4 hrs each day.

The deliveries are local within the Stamford, CT area.

The schedule and pay is:

Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday $110 for 3 to 4 hrs each day.

Pay is $550 a week /$27.50 per hour

Driver will need a clean Motor Vehicle Record and updated medical card.

Job starts in May.

Duties:

- Safely and efficiently operate a box truck to transport goods to customers

- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries

- Load and unload cargo using lift gate

- Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery

- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a professional

manner

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle

Qualifications:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

- Experience driving commercial vehicles, such as vans or box trucks, preferred

- Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations

- Excellent time management skills to ensure on-time deliveries

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo

- Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
