Hiring Certified Assisted Living

Assisted Living Home Caregiver:

St. Charles Place Assisted living Homes is looking for Caring Individuals Who Love to Work with the Elderly. The Ideal candidate is compassionate and caring with a knack for relating positively and effectively with Alzheimer's clients and their families. Applicant Must Speak English, Must have state approve assisted living certification, Must have a current fingerprint clearance card, a current First Aid /CPR card. Positions open is Day shift 7 am – 3 pm week days or (Monday – Friday) 3:00 pm - 11:00 p m. (Monday – Friday) and finally and a Weekend Position (Saturday and Sunday). The ideal candidate will need to be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills. Caregivers selected should be able to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks that helps residents.

Essential Qualifications Includes:

Must be minimum of 21 years of age

Holds the minimum high school education, experience and skills to perform responsibilities

Must have and continue a clean Criminal Background report

Understand, speak, read and write English clearly

Ability to lift to cook and serve meals to five residents

Ability to lift, push or pull 25 pounds

Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and reach

Ability to withstand exposure to dust, mold, mildew and cleaning solutions

Ability to treat and care for clients and their property with dignity and respect

Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
