Employment Type:Full timeShift:Day ShiftDescription:Trinity Health Of New England is looking for an experienced Nursing Assistant II to join our team at Mount Sinai Rehab Hospital. The Nursing Assistant II works under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse.What you will do

Collect and report patient information and data

Help patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, diet, fluid intake, elimination, skin care, bathing and dressing, positioning, transfers, mobility and ambulation

Patient Transport

Collection of specimens

Distribution of linens and supplies to patient rooms

Deliver ice and beverages to patients

Minimum Qualifications

Education : Must possess a minimum of a high school diploma/GED. A graduate of an approved Nurse Aide Training Program

Five years CNA experience required

Certification : Current Connecticut Nurse Aide Registry certification required. BLS certification required

Ability to pass drug screenings and background checks

Position Highlights and Benefits

Full-Time, 40 hours day shift (12 hour shifts 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.) must work every other weekend and holiday as scheduled
