Excavation Foreman

Mountain West Excavation is looking to fill an Excavation Foreman position. A good candidate will have 5+ years of experience as a heavy equipment operator, and at least 1 year of experience as a foreman, with 3 years as a foreman preferred. Experience on both a pipe crew and a grading crew is preferred but not required.

Job duties:

Responsible for the crew’s safety

Read and interpret plans

Lead/assign tasks to a crew of 2-4 operators and laborers

Perform the work according to company procedure

Communicate with the company superintendent, the customer, and the crew

Operate GPS equipment

Pay and benefits:

$30+ /hr depending on experience

Company pickup/fuel card
