Chiropractic Assistant/Manager

We are In Line Chiropractic Sports and Wellness Center. We have proudly served the Oakland – Bay Area community for over 35 years. We are a small practice with big results and that experience begins with our Chiropractic Assistant.

This key member of our team is friendly on the phone & in-person, is a quick learner, is able to multitask (calmly), as well as organized and detail-oriented. The position also includes some back-office support for our chiropractors and requires compassion and a level of comfort with the human body as you set them up with therapy. Training is provided for all aspects of this position, but experience in a chiropractic or medical office is a plus. You must be familiar with insurance billing and verification and have experience using EHR systems. This is not an entry level position.

Tasks include but not limited to:

Greeting patients - Register patients, answer questions, and provide excellent customer service throughout their experience.

Answer multiple phone lines, schedule, and confirm appointments.

Manage the patient flow – supporting doctors with this day and staying on time (we have a system that works)

Insurance verification and explaining benefits to patients (we have billing specialist who can help answer questions while you learn)

Collect patient payments and any outstanding balances as patient’s check-out.

Work within our EHR system to manage patient data, appointments, payments and more.

Charting patient vitals, pain levels and notes as directed in our EHR.

Room and setting up patients with therapy (hot-packs and Microcurrent/EMS, Ultrasound)

Maintain and keep exam rooms clean after each patient.

Salary: $26-$30/hr DOE

Hours: Full Time -32-40 hours a week
