Immediately hiring a Restaurant General Manager with at least two consecutive years of successful operational experience. Wine and craft cocktail education and service is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Customer relations: Comfortable going table to table checking on the guests.
Management and staff development: Hiring, training, and proper coaching/discipline of all staff and support managers.
Use of proper documentation to achieve goals is mandatory.
Scheduling: Experience using software to successfully schedule all departments of the restaurant to budget.
Assisting and verify department managers with their scheduling.
Payroll: Experience running employee payroll for a restaurant.
Operations: Expert at running the door, floor, expediting, and bar to operational standards.
Cash handling: Expert at all cash handling and understanding when financial reconciliation is in order.
Cost controls: Expert at controlling labor, food, and beverage costs to budget.
Culinary: Expert at working closely with the Chef/Sous Chef to oversee both front and back of the house.
Requirements:
2 + years successful experience as General Manager in a full-service restaurant.
Progressive food, wine, and craft cocktail knowledge.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications, Aloha POS programs, 7Shifts, Orderly, etc.
Excellent communication skills: which include oral, written and active listening.
5-day work week with a varied schedule including nights and weekends.
Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time; lift 50 pounds without assistance.
