Nights and weekends, work-from-home, dispatcher for towing and heavy hauling company based in San Antonio. We are looking for the right person to answer phones and dispatch.

Job Description:

Responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, scheduling and dispatching of drivers.

Effectively Communicate with drivers and customers.

Track trucks and drivers to confirm load scheduling and delivery.

Field calls from customers and enter all pertinent details within digital dispatch system

Schedule Details:

Work schedule will be 69 hours for 1 week and the next week will be 54 hours

Will have every other weekend off

Hours are 5pm to 8am M-F and 8am Sat to 8am Mon (rotating schedule)

Most of these hours are very low or no call volume.

Requirements:

Attention to detail

High speed internet

Must reside in San Antonio or surrounding areas

Must be available to train in-office

Length of In-office training dependent upon individual

General knowledge of the city and surrounding areas

Excellent keyboarding skills

Customer service oriented and have excellent phone skills

At least 1 year of dispatch experience

Goal oriented, able to work under pressure, prioritize and multitask
