New Age Security Fire Sprinkler Designer

New Age Security is looking for a Fire Sprinkler Designer who specializes in designing fire protection systems for residential and commercial projects utilizing architectural generated dimensions and structural backgrounds; is a self-starter an is able to work independently with minimum supervision. The preferred candidate will travel to project sites, and is proficient in AutoCAD and/or AutoSprink or some type of sprinkler design experience.

JOB DUTIES:

Research and create fire protection designs that comply with NFPA codes and City/County regulations.

Attend field survey and project specific meetings

Design fire sprinkler systems with accuracy and attention to details allowing for minimum errors

REQUIRED:

HS Diploma or equivalent required.

College or technical school certification preferred.

NICET and/or state required certification based on location.

Ability to interpret and apply applicable NFPA standards to the design/layout of the sprinkler system based on the building type.

Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
