Line Cook - Crumble & Flake Cafe Patisserie

Award-winning bakery & café serving breakfast and lunch is looking for a line cook with production experience in a professional kitchen. This job would require a schedule of Wednesday – Sunday, 9am - 5pm. We have a wonderful, fun, committed staff, who put their hearts and souls into every item we make. Our team has been working together for more than a dozen years – we are “la familia” – we’re looking for a skilled individual with the right attitude to join us!

Essential “ingredients” for qualified candidates include:

- To possess a natural ability & love for the art of cooking

- To be attentive to detail and to producing consistently high-quality products

- To be self-sufficient, well-organized, and extremely efficient

- To maintain a clean work environment, especially your station

- To have completed a minimum of 1 year in a restaurant kitchen as a cook, prepping ingredients as well as preparing food for service.

- To be proficient and able to handle strict time restraints to ensure all meals are served properly prepared and plated in a timely manner

Current position is full-time (approx. 40 hours) - you will have a prep schedule that needs to be done each day. Ideally the position would also include helping customers, running food to tables, bussing tables, and dishwashing – we all help with whatever is needed to run the café as best as possible. This requires an extremely responsible, trustworthy individual who has the utmost respect for producing consistently excellent food and providing exceptional customer service.
