To successfully accomplish this mission, FEMA is responsible for the accurate and efficient routing and processing of fluctuating call volume. FEMA’s Individual and Households Program Service Delivery Branch accepts calls and enters information into FEMA’s National Emergency Management Information System (NEMIS) and other FEMA-approved databases as required. When FEMA has exhausted its human resources and facility capabilities, this necessitates the acquisition of an Outsourced Contact Center Contract (OC3) with private sector temporary employees to augment FEMA’s contact center agents.HOW A PROGRAM MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACTGDIT seeks a Program Manager to assist with managing the ramp up of call agents to support FEMA’s response to calls from survivors of disasters. Activities for this role will include:

Analyzes customer requirements and provides technical solutions to problems as they arise

Provides expert knowledge for the design, development, build, analysis, evaluation, installation and administration of database management systems to include database modeling and design, relational database architecture, nonrelational database architecture and procedures, metadata and repository creation and configuration management

Defines database organization, standards, controls, procedures, and documentation

Advises applications development staff and users on data-based solutions to business problems, data architectures, database management system facilities and capabilities, and the operation and tuning of databases

Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned

Assists with daily validation of training data and reporting deliverables to FEMA

Manages data-related process activities with partners

Attends touchpoint meetings with the client

Assists with managing late shifts

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
