Junior Staff Accountant
Description Robert Half is partnered with an organization in need of an immediate Junior Staff Accountant. This is an immediate, contract or contract-to-hire position. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of hands on transactional experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and credit card reconciliations. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your accounting knowledge and experience with room for growth.
Utilize a strong understanding of accounting and finance concepts to connect business, strategy, and finance cohesively.
Track budget vs actuals and provide insightful analysis.
Pull financial reports for the leadership team, highlighting key performance indicators.
Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records.
Build and maintain financial models to aid in decision-making processes.
Review critical accounts at month-end closing and generate adjusting journal entries as needed to correct errors identified.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Solid understanding of accounting and finance principles.
Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with financial modeling is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
