Scan Image Engineer
Description:MBF is seeking a Scan Image engineer to join Vidrio’s software team. This person will be the lead developer of ScanImage. They will supervise a group of direct reports and peers to deliver two major ScanImage releases per year. They will define, execute and deliver software features independently as well as develop, test and document code for ScanImage in a team environment. They will work with data acquisition hardware to enable software control of microscopes. Provide email, phone, remote and on-site support for ScanImage users. Travel to visit customers and attend trade shows to promote ScanImage and identify new business opportunities (up to 5 trips a year, duration of 5-10 days). Routinely solicit feedback from users to improve code and develop a list of future features.Skills:Linux, Vmware, WindowsAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor's in Engineering, Physics or Mathematics 1-3 years of experienceAbility to execute projects independently Expert knowledge of MATLAB including: ○ Object oriented MATLAB ○ Native code interfaces (mex functions, calllib) Expert knowledge C/C+
Experience in LabVIEW FPGA and Verilog are nice to have
